Let me talk about what’s in the basket. This week, we have dinosaur kale (cavolo nero), carrots, fennel, 2 adorable little eggplants, garlic, and a basket of ripe tomatoes.
- pasta with Brie & tomatoes
- carrots with hummus (a favorite)
- baked kale chips
- sautéed eggplant and peppers
These vegetables are top-notch in quality. The carrots are especially sweet and crunchy – they taste as if they were pulled only an hour or two before they came home with me. And ripe tomatoes, I swoon over ripe tomatoes.
